When you get off the train in Rothenburg, it can be confusing which way to go. (we had no idea when we arrived)

Not anymore.  Look for this view across the street from the train station (note there is a market inside if you want to stock up on supplies).

Walk out to the street and turn left and walk down this street for 200 meters

until you come to this intersection

Turn right at the intersection.

Walk down this street for about 300 meters

until you see the amazing entrance to Rothenburg.
